Summer Associates

As a summer associate, you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, client-focused environment, working alongside experienced trial lawyers on complex and meaningful cases. This position offers an opportunity to engage in high-impact litigation, contribute to public interest initiatives, and develop practical legal skills in a collaborative and inclusive workplace.

Compensation: Summer associates will receive a salary of $1,500 per week.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and other legal documents in support of cases across wide-ranging practice areas.

Participate in client meetings, strategy sessions, and case discussions with senior attorneys.

Support attorneys in analyzing complex legal issues and developing case strategies for federal and state court proceedings.

Carry out research and analysis in order to develop facts for ongoing cases.

Collaborate with associates, partners, and paralegals to ensure efficient and effective case management.

Qualifications

Current enrollment in an accredited law school (2L preferred).

Strong academic record with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Demonstrated interest in litigation, civil rights, criminal defense, or public interest law.

Commitment to the firm’s core values of equity, dignity, justice, diversity, and inclusion.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
